Congratulations to Carmen Noffsinger and Patty Akovenko, co-students for the month of November, 2008. These two ladies tested for black belt on Oct. 25th and were simply amazing. The black belt rank is a milestone that many strive for but only a small percentage actually achieve. Dedication, perseverance, commitment, and discipline are some words that come to mind, but also blood, sweat, hard work and tears. Both women had to conquer not only martial arts challenges but personal ones as well on their journey to black belt. To Overcome numerous obstacles comes from the strength developed within yourself to follow through mentally and physically. Their attitude, determination and strong spirit prevailed.
